Mental Health First Aid Programme Overview

The Regenesys Mental Health First Aid programme is designed for individuals who want to develop an understanding of mental well-being. Offered by the Regenesys School of Health Sciences, the programme responds to the growing need for mental health awareness across communities and workplaces. Delivered over three days, this accredited programme covers important topics such as mental health literacy, identifying signs of distress, anxiety and depression, and crisis response. Each unit is structured to provide practical knowledge that can be easily applied in everyday situations. The programme also addresses stigma and misconceptions around mental health. Participants are guided on how to approach sensitive situations with respect and understanding. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to recognise changes in behaviour, respond calmly, and provide support that may help improve outcomes for individuals in distress.
