Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Head of the School of Psychology. This role combines strategic leadership, academic innovation, and people development. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and drive the vision, mission, and long-term strategy for the School of Psychology in alignment with Regenesys’ values.
- Lead curriculum development, programme expansion, and accreditation initiatives.
- Academic Excellence
- Ensure world-class standards in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Develop and deliver innovative psychology programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Promote research excellence, securing publications and fostering a culture of knowledge creation.
- People and Faculty Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead an outstanding team of academic and support staff.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment that prioritises growth, innovation, and student success.
- Student Engagement and Success
- Champion student learning experiences, career pathways, and holistic development.
- Support student research, professional practice, and experiential learning opportunities.
- External Engagement
- Build strong relationships with professional associations, industry partners, and international academic networks.
- Represent Regenesys at global forums, advancing the reputation and reach of the School.
KPIs and Performance Expectations
- Achieve and maintain accreditation standards across all psychology programmes.
- Increase student enrolment, retention, and graduation rates year-on-year.
- Ensure an average student satisfaction rating in teaching and support services.
- Publish and/or facilitate faculty and student publications in peer-reviewed journals annually.
- Develop new strategic partnerships with industry or academic institutions per year.
- Meet research output targets and secure external funding/grants where applicable.
- Deliver faculty performance and development reviews with measurable improvement outcomes.
- Contribute to Regenesys’ global visibility through conferences, thought leadership, and media presence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Proven record of academic leadership and administration in higher education.
- Strong portfolio of published research in reputable journals.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum design, accreditation, and quality assurance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills.
