Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Position Overview
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Regenesys Business School is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and public relations (PR) strategy. This role drives Regenesys’ growth, brand equity, and market positioning, encompassing oversight of digital marketing, communications, and PR. The CMO will lead a high-performing marketing team to build a strong brand presence in the higher education sector, aligning all efforts with Regenesys’ overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operating and Financial Results
o Drive marketing performance, enhancing brand sentiment, alumni engagement, and public reputation.
o Lead corporate communications and PR to manage Regenesys’ reputation, including media relations, brand positioning, and public sentiment monitoring.
o Develop and implement PR initiatives such as press releases, media outreach, and crisis communication to strengthen brand visibility and trust.
2. Management
o Oversee budget and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
o Set and monitor strategic KPIs across marketing and PR, evaluating impact and adjusting strategies as needed.
o Direct cross-functional collaboration, aligning PR and communication efforts with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging.
o Drive innovation in communications and PR, adapting strategies to respond to shifts in the media landscape and proactively managing reputation.
3. Leading a High-Performing Marketing and PR Team
o Develop and implement a cohesive marketing and PR strategy to support Regenesys’ growth, focusing on sustainable brand health and loyalty.
o Manage talent acquisition, training, and performance management within the marketing and PR teams.
o Foster a culture of creativity and responsiveness, equipping the team to handle media inquiries, brand campaigns, and internal communications effectively.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communications
o Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, alumni, industry bodies, and government agencies.
o Guide internal communications strategies to ensure alignment with brand values and keep employees informed of key initiatives.
o Act as a spokesperson and brand ambassador as needed, representing Regenesys at events and in media interactions.

Minimum Qualifications
• Educational Background: A graduate qualification in Marketing, with a preference for a Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience Requirements:
o 10+ years in marketing management, ideally within the Professional Services, Services, or Higher Education sectors.
o At least 5 years of experience specifically in Communications and Public Relations, with a proven record in managing brand reputation and media relationships.
o Expertise in managing an integrated marketing team that collaborates closely with Sales, Product Development, and PR functions.
