Job Overview:
Digital Regenesys is seeking a skilled and passionate UI/UX and Graphic Design Facilitator to mentor students in UI/UX principles and graphic design. The ideal candidate has a background in user-centred design, interaction design, and an understanding of modern digital product requirements. This role involves teaching Graphic design, design thinking, research methodologies, and the end-to-end UX design process, while cultivating an interactive and collaborative environment where students can apply their learning practically and creatively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate UI/UX Design courses for students, ensuring they understand and apply essential UX principles and processes.
 - Deliver engaging sessions on design thinking, user research, prototyping, wireframing, information architecture, usability testing, and interface design.
 - Develop and adapt course materials, practical exercises, and assessments that build a comprehensive skill set in UX design.
 - Guide students in using industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other prototyping and design platforms.
 - Mentor students individually, providing constructive feedback on projects, design approaches, and technical skills.
 - Stay updated on trends in UX design and best practices in usability and accessibility, incorporating them into the curriculum.
 - Collaborate with curriculum developers and academic teams to maintain and enhance course content, ensuring relevance to industry standards.
 - Encourage students to build a portfolio of projects that showcase their UX design skills, research abilities, and creativity.
 
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
 - 2-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, interaction design, or a similar role.
 - Previous experience as a facilitator, trainer, or lecturer, ideally within higher education or professional training.
 - Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other relevant platforms.
 - Strong understanding of user-centered design processes, usability testing, accessibility standards, and interface design principles.
 - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
 
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and support students or junior designers.
 - Knowledge of Agile and Lean UX methodologies.
