In celebration of Nelson Mandela Day 2023, Regenesys Business School’s CDP and IDT collected a variety of food, clothing, and blankets on the 18th of July for a local organisation, Rays of Hope. Staff across the board were instrumental in collecting a substantial amount for Rays of Hope, which works primarily in Alexandra, providing a variety of much-needed community programmes and services. Our remote employees made generous donations directly to the organisation, and we hope that, in some small way, our donations have made someone’s life a bit easier and warmer this winter in memory of a great South African.
Many thanks to Liza Schaefer and Annemie Parkin, Heads of Teaching and Learning, and Content Development and Production, respectively, for championing this campaign together with Kerryn Allagappen and Marleen Rolland from the CDP Team, who served as organisers and liaisons with Rays of Hope. We look forward to many more initiatives in the future.
